# WhatsApp Web

Status: `unconfigured`; no connection or successful action is claimed.

WhatsApp Web will use an owner-authorized persistent Chromium session. The system will not bypass QR authentication, steal sessions, evade platform controls, or implement bulk unsolicited messaging. Connection states are disconnected, waiting for QR, connected, session expired, and reconnect required.

Reading and sending are separate permissions. Sending requires identity resolution, policy evaluation, exact-content approval where configured, an idempotency key, post-send verification when available, and an audit event. A crash during sending must inspect the conversation before retrying.
